Architectural Victorian 2ft Ornate Iron Sconces w/ Etched Glass Shades
Wonderful Pair of 2ft. tall heavy Architectural, Turn of the Century, Exterior Cast Iron Victorian Ornate Sconces with Original 10 Sided Etched Glass Globes Shades & Wall Plates!
Originally Adorned the Old Cascade Hall building at Portland Community College Cascade Campus in N. Portland. Researching dates and pictures now.
Recently unearthed at the local Estate Sale of the Teacher who rescued, loved and preserved them from a sad demised when the building was demolished 20+ years ago.
Condition:
Other than decades of paint the Cast Iron Sconces are in Excellent Condition without chips, cracks or breaks.
The Amazing Etched Glass Globes / Shades are in amazing condition for their age, without Cracks, Breaks or Chips in the exposed/ displayed / seen viewing area.
One of the Wonderful Etched Glass Globes is in excellent condition with only a couple of small fleabites on the very top of the top rim. (Must look very closely down on the top to notice them)
Sadly, the second globe has an area on the bottom mounting base rim (hidden when placed) that has been chipped, but does not reduce the structural integrity of the globe's connection to the sconce when chips are placed between tightening screws & Also Does Not Distract from their Beauty.
